We are Auburn parents who love to share our spacious, pet-friendly home away from home with you! Come home to the Plains. Jet's Hangar AU is 1300 sq ft that is perfect for families or small friend groups. Our getaway has 2 bedrooms, 2.5 baths, and a new sleeper sofa to host up to 8 people total. Location is key and guests can WALK to both Auburn University campus and the fun restaurants, bars, and shopping downtown. Our fenced backyard is perfect for grilling out, tailgating, or letting your family dog run. "The Hangar" makes life easy with your own driveway parking for 2, a washer and dryer, and a fully stocked kitchen. We try to provide for your every need, so you can just enjoy your college kids and all that the town of Auburn has to offer! THE SPACE *Arriving* The first thing you will see inside our 2 story entryway is your welcome book full of local info regarding restaurants, coffee shops and Auburn must-sees, a guest book to sign, original Auburn art, and access to our private 1 car garage. Also on the first floor is a half bath and full sized washer and dryer with detergent provided in case you'd like to do your student's laundry! *Eating* The fully renovated kitchen has stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, new sink, new lighting, and coffee (K cup and pot brewed) provided. All cooking utensils, pots, pans, and dishes are stocked in case you want to make a home-cooked meal for your student. We also provide wine glasses and kid-friendly plastic cups and dishes. The dining table seats 6 comfortably, and is adjacent to the living room with more seating. - Fully stocked kitchen - Keurig/ Coffee maker - Fridge in-door water dispenser - Crock pot - Blender - 6 top dining table *Lounging* Our open floor plan allows you to chat with anyone downstairs and the kitchen, living, and dining area are all connected. Kick back on our brand new couches and watch the game on the 53" TV. In the winter, cozy up with a fire in the fireplace with logs provided for you. The rest of the year, open up the double french doors to the shaded back porch and enjoy indoor/outdoor living! - 53" TV - Wood burning fireplace - Cozy AU blankets - Queen sleeper sofa - Auburn puzzles, playing cards, & books - Brand new furnishings 2024 *Sleeping* Both of our bedrooms are upstairs and each has its OWN full bath (1 attached to primary and 1 in the hall). The huge primary bedroom is 12 x 18 with a comfy King bed, dresser, and work desk area. Of course high speed internet, desk lighting, and spare plugs are positioned to make any work that must be done while on vacation as quick and painless as possible. You can store as many things as you need in the large walk-in closet complete with luggage rack and coat hangars. Stored in the closet is also a queen blow up mattress and bedding in case you have extra guests. Primary full bath is attached with 2 sinks and large mirrors to get ready for the big game. The second bedroom has a queen bed, plenty of pillows, and a closet with an extra tabletop fan. New blinds hang in both bedrooms, as do new ceiling fans. - All new furnishings, bedding - Ceiling fans - Extra tabletop fans - Extra blankets and pillows - 1 King bed, 1 Queen bed, and 1 Queen blow up mattress - Walk in closet with hangars and storage - Work space desk, lighting, wifi, plugs - Room darkening curtains - Smart TV in each bedroom *Necessities* The 2.5 baths each have new sinks and countertops (2024). Half bath is downstairs and both full baths are up. Plush white bath towels, hand towels, and even make-up cloths are provided. Each bath has hand soap, bath soap, shampoo, and conditioner. Make-up mirrors and hair dryers are stored also so a house full of girls can get ready at once. *Tailgating* Throw open the double french doors and enjoy our fenced back yard and patio. The outdoor dining table seats 6, with other lounge chairs provided. Grill a meal under the tree canopy and string lights and enjoy just being together. Jet's Hangar is uniquely close to campus and still quiet and peaceful outside. Bring your kid's pup from home, play the oversized outdoor games there, and celebrate all that is Auburn! *Exploring* Location! Location! Location! THIS is why we bought this townhouse!
